Welcome to 2017 Balnarring Thunder Footy Season!
Isn’t it great to be back in the swing of junior football. As always, the Committee, Coaches and Members of the Balnarring Thunder Junior Football Club are totally focused on our core business, which is providing an avenue for kids to PLAY AND ENJOY JUNIOR FOOTY!
We hope that parents, siblings, grandparents and friends can make their way to as many games as possible. Your support is invaluable and there are many ways you can provide it, the best way is by turning up and cheering the kids on, when you can.
We gratefully welcome back our existing sponsors and also thank the new ones, particularly SUPERGROUPS KUBOTA for coming on board, you’ll hear more about those in the coming weeks.
BJFC is proud to announce a revolutionary, revitalised footy canteen, courtesy of our new partners in cuisine, FoodAfrica. Anthea and Francois at FoodAfrica have generously agreed to provide a full food service, offering much loved footy staples such as pies, hot dogs and french fries, as well as pastries, Sushi (that’s right) as well as selections from their AMAZING range of traditional Mauritian and South African cuisine (curry pie, samossa, anyone?). “FoodAfrica; Making Footy Food Great Again!”.
As you can see, the construction of our spanking new club rooms is well under way, with completion targeted for August this year. Obviously they’ll be a wonderful addition to our Club and the Balnarring Community. Added to the new Netball courts and Cricket training facility, the new club rooms are going to complete a sporting hub that will make it fun and functional to participate in junior sport in Balnarring.
Most of all, ENJOY THE GAMES, thanks for being here and supporting the kids and the club.
